Job Description
Environmental Engineering Analysis & System Evaluation
Apply environmental engineering principles to evaluate air emissions control systems, wastewater treatment systems, stormwater programs, and hazardous waste management systems.
Perform engineering analysis of environmental monitoring data, including emissions, discharge parameters, and compliance metrics.
Develop and review environmental engineering documentation, including control system descriptions, regulatory submissions, and compliance reports.
Analyze facility environmental systems to ensure alignment with federal, state, and local environmental regulations.
Evaluate environmental control system performance and recommend engineered improvements to enhance compliance and operational efficiency.
Ensure systems align with applicable environmental standards, including Clean Air Act, Clean Water Act, RCRA, and related regulatory frameworks.
Engineering Design Support & Process Integration
Participate in the engineering review of facility modifications, tool installations, and process changes to evaluate environmental impact.
Apply engineering methodologies to assess chemical handling systems, exhaust abatement systems, and wastewater treatment processes.
Provide engineering-level evaluation of environmental risk factors associated with semiconductor manufacturing operations.
Support environmental engineering components of Management of Change (MOC) processes.
Regulatory Engineering & Risk Assessment
Conduct engineering-based assessments to ensure facility compliance with environmental permitting requirements.
Participate in environmental risk analyses, hazard evaluations, and regulatory inspections.
Apply engineering judgment to interpret regulatory requirements and translate them into technical implementation strategies.
Support the preparation of technical responses to regulatory inquiries and compliance reviews.
Technical Documentation & Cross-Functional Coordination
Prepare engineering calculations, compliance documentation, and environmental performance reports.
Communicate technical findings and environmental engineering recommendations to management and cross-functional engineering teams.
Maintain organized engineering records supporting environmental compliance activities.
Bachelors degree (or Licenciatura) in Environmental Engineering or Chemical Engineering from an accredited institution.
Minimum of three (3) years of professional experience performing environmental engineering analysis, regulatory compliance engineering, or environmental system evaluation in industrial environments.
Demonstrated knowledge of environmental engineering principles related to air quality, water quality, waste management, and regulatory compliance.
Experience applying environmental regulations including Clean Air Act, Clean Water Act, RCRA, or equivalent frameworks.
Strong analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills.
Fluent English communication skills suitable for technical documentation and regulatory coordination.

The role is analytical and engineering-focused in nature and does not involve routine field technician or trade-level activities.
